What you can hold us to
Independence is not something you declare, it is something you arrange. These are the rules we set ourselves, and you may hold us to every one.
Why we put them in writing
Every firm calls itself independent. The word costs nothing until it is tied to a way of being paid that can be checked. Ours can: we charge fees, and we take no commission from any provider whose products we might recommend.
The practical consequence is simple: we have no interest in your doing something rather than nothing. That is what allows us to tell you to leave things alone — which we did eleven times in 2025.
Five commitments, and what they mean
Each one can be checked. If any is not kept, the engagement is refunded.

Fees only
No commission, no trail, from anyone. Our invoice is our only income, and you know it before we start.
Stated at the first meeting

Nothing before the review
No recommendation before a complete picture. Advice given without knowing how you hold your assets is not advice.
Three weeks

Recommendations in writing
Every proposal comes in writing, with its drawbacks and the circumstances in which it would turn out badly. Advice with no downside stated is a sales pitch.
Before anything is signed

The right to do nothing
We will tell you when inaction is the better option. What we earn does not depend on your acting.
At any point

Annual review
A written note each year on what was put in place, what has drifted, and what needs correcting. Included, never invoiced again.
Every twelve months
A first meeting to judge for yourself
Free of charge and without obligation. You leave with our fee schedule, in writing.
